Lowryder by The Joint Doctor was the first autoflowering cannabis strain on the market and showed the world something most people had never seen or heard of before; a cannabis strain that starts to flower automatically, regardless the amount of light hours she receives. Lowryder has been introduced by The Joint Doctor the beginning of this century. After obtaining a clone called 'Mexican Rudy' from a friend and crossing it with a Northern Lights #2 and a William's Wonder he found some tiny male plants which started to flower immediately, while they were basically still seedlings... The Joint Doctor used these male 'freaks' to pollinate his next generation and got a batch of fully autoflowering cannabis plants as result. At first The Joint Doctor named his ' new' autoflowering strain 'Willy's Automatic' and after 5-6 generations of growing and testing with Willy's Automatic the strain was stable and reliable enough to the taste of The Joint Doctor. The Joint Doctor renamed Willy's Automatic into 'Lowryder' and released her on the market.

Lowryder is a fast and easy to grow cannabis strain. Thanks to her ability to autoflower your crop can be ready in the middle of the season. Especially in northern climates, where the summers are short and colder, the Lowryder changed the potential of cannabis cultivation. You can find fantastic grow reports online where people have been able to grow some nice cannabis at places where that was not possible before.
